MotionWorks Physical Therapy now offers two great class options to assist you in your get fit, faster goals - the exhilarating Zumba fitness class and the Build a Better Body Class! You can sign up anytime and pay only for the classes you attend with our pro-rated class fees. It's never too late to take that first step of commitment to working out! Zumba is a 60-minute heart-pounding, Latin music infused, calorie burning party, I mean class, that will teach you how to shake your hips and a few other body parts as you dance toward your fitness goals.
The class is held on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30pm and Thursdays from 11:30am-12:30pm.
Participants have the option to choose a once a week class for $90 for 10 weeks, or twice a week class for $180 for 10 weeks, and classes are prorated based on the number of classes you can commit to attending when you register.
The Build a Better Body Class will be led by Sara Austin, certified Zumba instructor and the number of participants will be limited to maintain the quality of exercise instruction.
The 60-minute Build a Better Body Class will incorporate all of the exercises in the Build a Better Body series, as well as a functional warm-up, upper body and lower extremity strengthening, flexibility exercises, and fun, challenging activities to improve agility and coordination.
This class is a Basic level class, appropriate for those recovering from a recent injury, beginning a new exercise program (although having an aerobic exercise base is recommended), and those who are looking for some cross-training sessions focusing on flexibility, strengthening, and stabilization.
The class is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm..
